It has been 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more for the last few days and it is just so hot that I don’t even want to step outside. My kids were sent home early today because there school doesn’t have air conditioning. We are traveling down to Florida soon and I am getting nervous about how hot it will feel there when we hit all of the amusement parks down there. So, I decided to be proactive about this matter. I can’t control the weather, but I CAN control how I deal with the heat. My kids and I have very fair skin so we don’t handle heat or the sun very well, so I am going to make sure that we all have a good time by finding products to help us stay cool. I was very nervous about this article when I first started the research. There didn’t seem to be any good products around. But after 2 full days of research, I have found some great products that I know will help my family. ($12.99) I really think that this stroller clip on fan looks adorable. This is the only fan that I have ever seen that has a pinwheel inside the fan so that your baby can stare at it and stay amused. How cute is that idea? This clip-on fan is not only safe but it also does a decent job keeping you or your baby cool. This personal fan clips on to strollers and play yards to keep little ones both comfy and happy on even the hottest days. I am going to purchase 2 fans so that I can clip one on the front of the stroller for the baby as well as one on the back of the stroller (on the pushing handle) pointed at me and my husband. The Pinwheel Fan has a great protective grill that keeps little fingers totally safe. Sturdy clamp attaches easily; bendable neck lets you direct the breeze. ($8.15) They sell these at the amusement parks for way too much money. Before you go to the amusement park, get a less expensive version. These are personal squeezable personal misting fans. There is a strap for your kids to wear them around their neck or should. You or your child can get over 1000 Mists out of each fill up. After that, they just have to run to the water fountain to get more. There is also the ability to add ice, which will provides a mist 30 degrees below air temperature. The fan has soft foam blades, so it is perfectly safe for little fingers.

($1.99) A very cheap alternative to the more expensive gadgets that I have listed in this article. This is a fan that will clip onto a pocket keychain. This Pocket Keychain Fan clips almost anywhere and has really safe Foam Blades, so you don’t have to worry about your children’s fingers. Assorted Colors.
($9.99) I have heard great things about this product. Standing at just 8 1/2 inches tall and about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, this mini mist maker easily fits in a purse, backpack or other carrying case.
