St. Joseph Museum - The Wyeth/Tootle Mansion, a site of The St. Joseph Museums Inc., is located at 1100 Charles in St. Joseph, Missouri. The mansion was built in 1879 by William M. Wyeth whose fortune was made in wholesale hardware and saddle manufacturing. The mansion was designed in the Gothic style by Eckel and Mann Architects. They incorporated ideas gathered by the Wyeths on a European tour. The walnut woodwork in the main hall and the beautiful stained glass windows on the stair landings are especially outstanding. The Wyeth family lived in the house until 1887 when it was purchased by Mrs. Kate Tootle.

Shryocks Callaway Farms - Shryock Farms has been in operation since 1889. Our current crops are corn and soybeans. The "big red barn", built in 1999, is the center of our farming operation. It is a Lester Building which we helped design. It was built by HLW Builders of Fulton, Missouri. It is a steel-covered polebarn construction with approximately 5,000 square feet. We finished the front area ourselves with yellow pine and use the back as a farm shop. Business for the maze is run from the front area of the barn.
