20 QUESTIONS - HOW TO PLAY 20 QUESTIONS
TRAVEL GAMES 4 ROADTRIPS & CAR TRIPS

20 Questions is a classic roadtrip gam and it can be played by children of all ages. There are many different varieties of this game but the classic 20 questions is the one that shines through. The way that 20 Questions works, is that one player thinks of a famous person, place or thing. Everyone else gets to ask the player 20 questions, which can only be answered as either "yes" or "no." For example, "Does it know how to walk?" is a valid question, but "What is his mother's name?" is not. If the player guesses correctly, the winning questioner now thinks of a new object. If the answer is incorrect, another person is allowed to ask a "yes" or "no" question. Sometimes the answerer will not be able to come up with a clear 'yes' or 'no' because there isn't a clear answer, in these cases, the answerer can answer 'I don't know' or 'I can't answer'. The object of the game is to stump the other players and to pick something hard enough that nobody will be able to guess it in under 20 questions.
