LICENSE PLATE GAME - FUN CAR GAME

Before you play, it is a good idea to printout a United States Map of the 50 States for each Player. You can Printout the maps and Lists from our site.

For this game you will need colored crayons or colored pencils. You will be color coding the map that you just printed. First, Leave your own state white. Color the states that border your home state Yellow, the states the border those states color Orange, the next outside these states color Red, the next outside these states color Purple, and all the rest of the states color Blue.

The scoring for finding license plates in the states in certain color regions are as follows:

1 pt - Yellow
2 pt - Orange
4 pt - Red
6 pt - Purple
8 pt - Blue

Everyone needs to search for license plates in each state...however, only one person can get credit for a state's license plate at one time. Only the first person who spots that state's license plate gets credit for it. In order to get credit for that particular state, you first need to find another state first. Only then can you go back and find that state's license plate. At the beginning of the game you should decide what the time limit is for the game...or decide to do it by how many license plate sightings a player gets. For example, 20 sightings and the game is over. Whomever has the most points wins the game.
